These are CANDLES
Pioneers did NOT use wax to make candles,they used, drumroll please................................ animal fat!!!!!!!!
Here they are!
They use big pots. And sticks with long strands of cotton that is spun together to make a ''wick'' and one stick will have more then one wick. And then they dip the stick into the animal fat real fast and then they dip it into cold water to cool off.
And they keep going back and forth back and forth and then they hang it to dry.
Here's the stuff you need.
Cans,
Pots,
Wax,
A thermometer that can survive hot wax,
and a stove.
First turn the stove on high then to 160 degrees farenhight.
